Diesel is a handsome TRUE BAY ROAN cross bred gelding, he is 1/4 Percheron draft and 3/4 Ky mtn saddle horse. Diesel comes to us from the hills of eastern Ky where he has been used to trail ride in the rough, rocky terrain. Diesel is well built, big boned and has a sturdy hoof. Diesel is stout as a brick house and can easily handle a days work. The rare thing about Mr. Diesel is even though he is stout made he is smooth as glass, he gives the kind of ride you can sit all day long comfortably and be ready to go again tomorrow. He is easy to ride and not hard to hold. He isn’t buddy or barn sour and rides great alone, with another horse or in a group. He doesn’t mind to lead, take the middle or bring up the rear. Diesel has no bad barn habits and is over-all an honest horse. He loads well and trailers quietly. He stands for bathing, grooming, tack and mounting. He is naturally gaited and very smooth. He is the perfect cross of 2 docile breeds, both breeds are known for being docile and people friendly horses and Diesel shows that. I’m asking $4,500 him.
