Doc is a handsome grade rocky mtn gelding that is 7 years old and stands 14.1 when barefoot. Doc came from a mutual friend and they had bred, raised and had him until selling to me. Doc had been rode by all members of the family and served them all well. Doc was sold to me due to absolutely no fault of his own, the family was moving away due to a job opportunity and couldn’t take them along with them. I’m honored they trusted with a member of their family and such a nice horse. I feel privileged to say I have had the opportunity to own some exceptionally nice horses and when you talk about horses that are gentle, good gaited and humble, Doc will be on that list. This is the ideal family gelding, he is absolutely safe, sane and well natured. When it comes to gait Doc is in the head of his class, he has that smooth 4 beat gait that us trail riders crave, he is 100 percent natural, he can do it barefoot and bridleless, or shod and with the tack on, he’s quiet all the way around, he hauls quiet, stands quiet, stands for bathing, grooming, shoeing, tack and to be mounted, we have recently taught Doc to side step over mounting and he was very easily taught.
