Jethro is really a neat buckskin/ dun John mule that stands 14.2 hands and is 12 years old. This mule came off of a man that I know the very best and he had owned him the last 10 years. Jethro has always been a well mannered trail mule but he has also spent time on hunting trips packing elk out of the Montana mtns. Jethro hadn’t been ridden in several years until I got him ( along with the rest of this mans mules), we gave him a day or two to get used to us and when we tacked him up, he rode off and hadn’t forgotten a thing! This mule is very easy and fun to ride! He will walk all day on a loose rein, go into a nice smooth job and has nice easy lope, Jethro has the start of a nice neck rein and a stop better than most quarter horses. This would be a great mule for first time mule owners to feel comfortable on yet he’s got the training to keep even the most experienced mule skinners entertained.
