Merida is a gorgeous 1/2 draft 1/2 gaited mare that is 7 years old and stands 16 hands tall. This lady is cool!!! She’s a gentle giant and I just love her. She’s stout made, got a big ol hoof and just like Papaw’s chevy built to last. Merida is a family favorite and we have all enjoyed her from young to old. Merida is super fun to ride and very easy to enjoy. Merida walks on a loose rein, gaits smooth and has a nice smooth lope that is very comfortable. She trail rides flawlessly , is sure footed and traffic safe. I’ve ridden this mare in the woods, on the road, around the crop fields you name it and she simply never messes up. She loads and hauls perfectly, loves a bath and to be brushed, stands for tack and mounting. Merida neck reins and backs up with ease. This draft/gaited cross is rare and I love it!
