Sunny is a very handsome, golden palomino Ky Mtn gelding that is 9 years old and stands 15 hands. I was always the person that preached that there is no such thing as the “ perfect horse” but believe me when I tell you that Sunny has changed my mind with that! You can look at this guy and just tell that he is a kind soul. This is a horse that has my up most trust, he’s one of the very horses that I’d have complete trust around my kids ( not at all calling him a kids horse, I will never call a horse that) he is extremely kind and gentle, he is a great personality and as a whole is unlike any other horse I’ve had. Sunny is well made and stout enough to pack the larger riders but is kind enough to pack the little ones also, he has a smooth 4 beat gait and nice canter, he will walk like a gentleman on a loose rein and never speeds up until asked to. He is sure footed on the steep, muddy trails and takes his time making sure to keep his rider and hisself safe. He is brave on the trail and has never spooked at anything with us. Sunny is always solid as an old oak! He is a very comfortable horse that is easy to relax on. He stands for mounting, steps over for a mounting block on command and rides at your desired speed. This is truly a horse that whole family can enjoy and his looks sure don’t hurt things either! Sunny came to me from the man that raised him from a young colt and was sold at no fault of his own.
